I started off by going to beauty school and getting a job as a receptionist at Supercuts in Camarillo.
As soon as I graduated I started working there as a stylist and within a year I became a manager of my own store. I managed about 5 stores in the 10 years I was there.
Moved on to full service at Janna K in Oxnard, working commission for 5 years.
2008 is when I decided to work for myself. In the last 14 years I was able to work with some amazing girls and a few boys who I have learned from and now very excited to go out on my own and continue my craft which I love to do so much.
Recently had to stop taking new clients because I have been blessed with so many clients that most have become friends and some even my chosen family.

Hair has always been my passion. Specializing in lived in color and extensions. Traveled the USA with a hair extension company teaching other stylist how to properly install extensions, cut to blend and style them.

Dr. Torres, a fourth-generation Ventura County resident, brings a deep-rooted commitment to the community she loves. Her journey began at Santa Clara High School in Oxnard, followed by a BA in Psychology from the University of Southern California. She furthered her expertise with a Masters in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley and graduated with honors from The University of Iowa School of Medicine. Her medical training culminated in a Family Medicine Residency at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, where she served as Chief Resident.

With over thirty years of dedicated service at Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Torres continues to care for the Ventura County community as a Partner Emeritus and through her volunteer work at Westminster Free Clinic in Oxnard.
